Role/Team overview

The Global Product Insight & Analytics team is at the heart of continuous customer experience improvement for our Global Entertainment products, through empowering our global product team with world leading customer insight & analytics.

The Head of Product Insight role is at the forefront of new product innovation, bringing vital Customer Satisfaction linked insight, metrics and performance definition to drive the ongoing improvement of the product experience.

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible for bringing world leading insight to the Global Product Experience team, driving continuous improvement in Customer Satisfaction and product usability, globally

  • Be a primary partner to product management teams seeking to understand product use and opportunities to improve ‘ease of use’ and delight with the experience.

  • Lead a team of analysts, setting the vision and direction for global analytical priorities & delivering creative, clear & innovative product recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Based on analysis, propose new, robust, value linked KPIs to continually improve the global team’s ability to monitor performance against customer needs.

  • Manage a rolling roadmap of strategically key analytical priorities, managing senior product team expectations on progress and timings

  • Curate and lead data-led conversations with senior product leadership, exploring challenging product problems, displaying advanced active listening, adaptability of thought and the ability to propose innovative analytical approaches “on your feet”.

  • Collaborate with other analytics, data science and specialist modelling teams globally to share best practices, develop and innovate current analytical approaches and improve team ‘tool-kit’.

  • Propose, (and collaborate with experimental engineering teams to deliver) innovative new data products, embedding new ways to understand customer needs and product usage into our global data platform.

What you’ll bring

Essential Criteria

  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics methodologies and approaches, proven expertise in both descriptive and predictive (modelling) techniques is essential.

  • Proven ability to guide a team of ambitious, innovative and creative analytics professionals; creating an environment of experimentation, high quality delivery and continuous learning

  • Proven leadership in communicating complex topics clearly & evidence of ability to coach others on this

  • Evidenced experience in driving continuous innovation in insight data capabilities at scale; coupled with a strong working knowledge of the core components of successful data use within a multi-national organisation

  • A restless approach to continuous improvement; seeking new angles, new tools and new methods to unlock insight for the product team

  • An outcome focused and iterative approach to exploring key product experience questions in pursuit of Customer Satisfaction

  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in communicating insight outcomes to senior leadership; a strong ability to appreciate strategic context and the need to balance conflicting global priorities

  • A proactive approach to collaboration, as a team we strive to find the best solution to identified challenges, even if that is something best delivered by a partner area.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with other areas to contribute to shared goals, creating a common sense of purpose and a clear, shared vision and outcome

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
