The Challenges
- Align product development strategies with the company's overall business goals
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Analyse customer needs and preferences to drive product innovation.
- Create and manage the product development roadmap.
- Prioritize projects based on business impact and strategic importance
- Lead and mentor a team of product developers, designers, and innovation specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Work closely with departments such as marketing, sales, and operations for alignment and integration of new products.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Guide the design and development of new products and services.
- Implement best practices in product development processes and methodologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the organization
- Encourage and manage the generation of new ideas and concepts.
- Develop and manage the product development budget.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-efficiency in product development activities.
- Assess the return on investment for new product initiatives.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and gather feedback on products.
- Present product concepts and development progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and adapt product strategies accordingly.
Risk Management - Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and innovation.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
What It Takes
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Real Estate, or related field
- Hands-on experience in product design & innovation
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and writing skills in English
- 12 to 15 years in real estate or property development industries
