The role

The Head of Product & GTM is responsible for defining and executing Zeekr SDV product strategy for Zeekr carline in Europe. This role owns the product lifecycle both in hardware (vehicle platform) to software (connectivity) ensuring commercial success, technical excellence, and alignment with customer requirements.

You act as the bridge between China and Europe organization, in the area of planning, commercial, operations executive leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and profitable automotive solutions.

This expansive role bridges the space between visionary strategy and tangible planning, ensuring our organization not only conceptualizes transformative automotive solutions but also brings them to life, intertwining our overarching business strategy with sales operations, and ensuring alignment with market dynamics.

Combining an in-depth understanding of connectivity technologies with an adeptness at cross-functional collaboration, this role will orchestrate product marketing, product planning, product management, and overall strategic direction in the connectivity domain.

You will report directly to the CEO of Zeekr Europe.

The SDV Product department is made by 4 key area:

Product management: as liaison between the HQ Commercial organization in China and Europe, both for Product and Connectivity.

GTM & Lifecycle management: overseeing all the launch activities with company’s stakeholders and post launch monitoring including development of appropriate LCM-activities to meet the commercial targets.

Product Pricing: responsibility for the setting of EU pricing for new and existing products, coordinating local pricing setting, and web tools (car configurator and product web pages).

Connectivity: set up foundation (MNO, TSP, Customer support), product roadmap and monetization opportunities, reporting and KPIs setting.

This is what you will do:

• Orchestrate and integrate the objectives of the Product Strategy and Carline Planning divisions, ensuring holistic product development and rollout.
• Direct the intricate facets of Carline Planning, emphasizing HQ automotive planning, in-depth product knowledge, and astute project management.
• Collaborate closely with business strategy and sales operations to align product roadmaps with organizational goals and market demands.
• Define and execute a visionary digital business strategy, ensuring comprehensive integration of connectivity, ADAS, cockpit experiences, and data-driven commercial endeavors.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of data commercial strategies, leveraging vast amounts of vehicular and user data to create new revenue streams and enhance customer experiences.
• Guide Product Marketing and Product Management in the ideation, development, and rollout of connectivity solutions, ensuring market fit and technological feasibility, ensuring optimal positioning, promotion, and launch strategies for all digital and connectivity features.
• Craft and continuously optimize pricing models based on a comprehensive understanding of costs, market demand, competitive pricing, and strategic business goals to drive profitability.
• Implement pricing strategies across multiple European markets, taking into account local market dynamics, currency considerations, regulatory environments, and competitive factors.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive launch plan for new Zeekr models, including timelines, milestones, and KPIs to ensure successful market introduction.
• Lead the presentation of the model to internal stakeholders (by leveraging a dedicated Product Bulleting) and external stakeholders, including journalists.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and adjust the launch strategy accordingly.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to develop and execute promotional strategies, campaigns, and events to drive awareness and demand for new EV models. The activity includes the preparation of the press kit from product side.
• Stay abreast of industry shifts, technological advancements, and competitor maneuvers, ensuring our products are not only relevant but pioneering.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in Automotive, with substantial exposure to both Product Strategy, Carline Planning, Pricing, Launch management and connectivity.
• Proven expertise in automotive knowledge, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and steer diverse stakeholder groups towards a unified vision.
• Strong business acumen with a seasoned understanding of the automotive market landscape, sales operations, and commercial strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adept at conveying intricate concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
