Location

This role is open globally, but location is set in Europe - with a preference for Finland (Helsinki), Italy (Sesto San Giovanni), Netherlands (Rotterdam), Poland (Warsaw), Spain (Barcelona), Sweden (Vaesteras), UK (Warrington) - and India (Bangalore). The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will lead global product development and people leadership for a strategic portfolio of digital and IoT solutions across on-premise, edge, and cloud environments. As a senior business-minded technology leader, you will translate customer and market needs into scalable, secure, and differentiated offerings while driving digital innovation, R&D execution, and AI-enabled software development transformation. You will manage a team of product development managers spanning cloud, edge, analytics, and cybersecurity functions, ensuring strong execution and technical excellence aligned with business priorities. You bring deep software and digital solution engineering expertise, proficiency in SAFe methodologies and modern cloud architectures, knowledge of AI-enabled practices and cybersecurity fundamentals, and a proven ability to convert technology investments into competitive advantage.

This role reports to Global Digital Business Line Manager, Motion Services.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead end-to-end digital IoT solution engineering and technology strategy for advanced solutions aligned with business objectives and customer needs
• Drive development and delivery of complex digital IoT solutions across hybrid cloud and edge environments with strong execution discipline and quality governance
• Spearhead AI and agentic AI transformation across software development processes and customer-facing offerings to enhance speed, quality, and productivity
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering leadership team overseeing cloud, edge, analytics, and cybersecurity functions with accountability and continuous improvement
• Own cybersecurity as a core function, embedding secure-by-design principles throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Establish agile delivery excellence through strong governance, metrics, and quality standards while balancing innovation with operational discipline and technical debt management
• Drive cross-functional alignment with product management, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into competitive market advantage
• Foster an innovation-driven engineering culture that supports organizational scaling, talent development, capability building, and R&D transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field
• Significant leadership experience in digital solution engineering, software R&D, or IoT product development with proven success managing multidisciplinary teams across software, cloud, analytics, edge, and cybersecurity domains
• Hands-on technical expertise with Azure cloud and experience delivering complex digital products and platforms across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments
• Demonstrated success leading AI transformation in software development processes and embedding AI capabilities into customer-facing offerings, with strong command of agile methodologies and modern engineering practices
• Strong business acumen connecting technology decisions to customer value and commercial outcomes, combined with cybersecurity knowledge, secure development practices, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
