Job Description

We are hiring HoP who will be leading the entire product offering as a unified whole. Defines product strategy, prioritizes across meta-apps, and ensures the product portfolio serves the company's mission. Owns the Product Strategist agent — the AI that conducts product discovery, market analysis, writes BRDs, and creates document artifacts (user stories, user journeys, JTBDs). Ensures Product Architects and Product Engineers have clear strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy

• Own the overall product strategy and roadmap across all meta-apps and standalone apps
• Prioritize across meta-apps and resolve cross-product conflicts
• Ensure product-market fit across the portfolio
• Define the product vision that guides all Product Architects and Product Engineers

Product Strategist Agent Ownership

• Own the Product Strategist agent — ensure it produces high-quality discovery artifacts and strategic analysis
• Define research methodologies, artifact templates (BRDs, user stories, JTBDs), and quality standards
• Continuously improve agent skills based on outcome tracking (did the strategy lead to product success?)

Team Leadership

• Lead Product Architects and Product Design Lead
• Ensure Product Architects maintain coherence within their meta-apps
• Set standards for product discovery, specification, and validation
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering on technical feasibility and architectural direction

Must-haves

• 12+ years in product management, with at least 3 years leading a product org. That means managing PMs, architects, or designers, not just owning one product as a senior PM.
• SaaS background. This means B2B SaaS product leadership, ideally on a multi-product or platform business rather than a single app.
• Consistent career track. Look for meaningful tenures, ideally 2+ years per role, with visible growth in scope rather than frequent short stints.
• Ownership of a multi-product portfolio strategy. The candidate should have set the vision and roadmap across several products and resolved priority conflicts between them. Owning one product's backlog isn't enough.
• Hands-on discovery expertise. They should have run JTBD and design thinking discovery themselves, written BRDs, PRDs, user stories, and journeys, and ideally set the templates and standards others follow.
• Practical experience operating AI in the product workflow. This is the key differentiator. They should have configured or built LLM agents or AI workflows for product work like research, analysis, or spec writing, and judged output quality systematically. Casual ChatGPT use doesn't count.
• Market and competitive analysis. They should have a track record of market sizing, competitive intelligence, and turning findings into strategic bets.
• Measurable product outcomes. They should be able to point to achieving product-market fit or growth metrics, and to tracking whether their strategy actually worked.
