About the role

We are hiring a first Head of Product to lead the execution of our product vision. You will own our product roadmap end to end: what we build, in what order, and how we know it worked. You will spend part of your time setting direction and part of it in detail with your team, close to the work and to the customer.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You set the bar for how the product team plans, prioritises and delivers, and you carry the outcome, reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer.

What you'll do

• Owning the product strategy planning & roadmap. Build the yearly planning, and turn company strategy into a clear, prioritised roadmap. Drive user activation with products and services, from user signup to activation to retention.
• Partner with commercial and customer success teams to drive NRR. Stay close to the market to understand what clients are buying and why. Bring that into the roadmap, to drive customer retention, expansion and revenue as naturally as in features.
• Own go-to-market for our product and services . Make launches land. Own positioning, enablement and the activation of new features with the teams that take them to market to drive user signup and adoption.
• Champion AI-native product development. Set a high bar for how the team uses AI to research, prototype and build, and for the quality of the AI features we ship. Know how to tell whether an AI product is genuinely getting better.
• Increase product development transparency and communication. Run the operating rhythm that keeps priorities aligned across teams and surfaces risks early, increasing visibility of the overall roadmap and build throughout the whole company.
• Lead and grow the team. Manage and coach a team of product managers, run hiring and role design, and give the kind of direct, caring feedback that helps people do their best work.

About you

You are an experienced product leader who has owned a product portfolio and managed other product managers, not only individual contributors. You are as comfortable in a commercial conversation as a technical one, and you are at your best when you are close to both the customer and the team.

• Commercially minded. You think in retention, expansion and revenue before features, and you can adapt the roadmap as a portfolio of bets.
• Decisive. You prioritize incomplete information and move on. You are comfortable telling a team their work is stopping, and you never mistake a framework for a decision.
• A real people manager. You give direct feedback in the moment because you care about the person. You build and grow teams, and you hold people to a high standard with warmth.
• Trusted by senior stakeholders. You hold your own with founders, commercial leaders and engineers alike, and your product decisions stick because of the relationships you build.
• AI-fluent. You work AI-natively yourself. You prototype and use AI tools without waiting for an engineer, and you can prioritise an AI product credibly, including judging its quality.
• Credible on delivery. When an engineer tells you something takes six weeks and not two, you know whether that is true, and you can push back without it becoming a fight.

Experience

• 8+ years in product management, including 2 - 3 years leading other product managers
• Backgrounds in general management, strategy or running a business line are as welcome as a classic product career.
• A track record of owning a roadmap and portfolio of features and initiatives and the results it delivered, not only the features you shipped
• Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with a subscription or renewal model
• Excellent English; Dutch or German is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, mental well-being or another regulated space
• Familiarity with services delivered by people as well as by software
• Commercial or general management experience alongside product
