Head of Procurement
Location: Nigeria (52/21 rotation)

A leading organisation in the oil & gas logistics sector is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead procurement strategy and oversee warehouse operations across a complex, high-demand environment.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of procurement, supplier management, and inventory control. As Head of Procurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely supply of materials and services, while driving cost efficiency and strengthening supply chain performance across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate the procurement function and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless supply chain execution

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost optimisation and operational efficiency

  • Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations, ensuring performance, reliability, and value delivery

  • Oversee inventory management and stock control, ensuring material availability while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards

  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, KPIs, and inventory status, providing regular updates to senior leadership

  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, driving continuous improvement across procurement and warehouse processes

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and logistics teams to support project delivery and operational requirements

Who You Are

  • You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • You bring 8–10 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or warehouse management, ideally within oil & gas or logistics

  • You have strong expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimisation

  • You are an experienced leader, capable of managing teams across procurement and warehouse operations

  • You demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution
