As Head of Post-Trade Platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how post-trade technology evolves across one of Europe's leading energy trading and optimisation businesses.

Based in Aalborg, you will provide leadership to a highly capable engineering team while driving the adoption of FinTRACE, our strategic post-trade data platform. Working at the intersection of technology, data, and business transformation, you will help simplify complex landscapes, lead meaningful change, and ensure that local priorities align with a global platform strategy. About the Role

As Head of Post-Trade Platform, you will hold overall accountability for post-trade platform outcomes in Denmark, ensuring that technology, data, and operating models support the needs of a fast-moving global trading business. You will lead the continued adoption of FinTRACE while guiding the integration of existing reporting and data capabilities into a unified target-state architecture.

Success in the role requires the ability to balance local business priorities with enterprise-wide objectives, bringing together stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Operations, Trading, and Technology to deliver sustainable long-term outcomes. You will act as a key bridge between Denmark-based teams and global leadership, helping ensure consistency, transparency, and effective decision-making across the post-trade landscape.

In practice, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior engineers and technical specialists, creating an environment built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Drive the adoption of FinTRACE across Denmark and ensure all delivery activities align with agreed platform standards, architecture principles, and strategic roadmaps.

• Guide the integration of Denmark-based BI and reporting capabilities, including legacy solutions, into the future-state post-trade data platform while reducing duplication and fragmentation.

• Partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Trading to manage platform, reporting, and data transformation initiatives effectively and safely.

• Establish clear governance, ownership, and operating model structures that enhance resilience, improve decision-making, and reduce key-person dependencies.

About You

You are an experienced technology leader who thrives when combining strategic direction with hands-on organisational leadership. You understand that successful transformation is not only about technology adoption, but also about bringing people, processes, and business priorities together to create lasting change.

You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, making difficult prioritisation decisions, and balancing immediate delivery needs with longer-term platform goals. Just as importantly, you bring deep expertise across post-trade technology, enterprise data platforms, and reporting environments, allowing you to challenge, guide, and support teams through complex transformation initiatives.

We imagine that you:

• Bring proven experience leading enterprise data, platform, or post-trade technology organisations within complex business environments.

• Have strong hands-on experience with ETRM platforms, together with advanced knowledge of SQL and data-driven technology environments.

• Possess extensive experience working with Power BI and Tableau, using modern reporting and analytics capabilities to support business decision-making and platform adoption.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of post-trade processes and the controls, reporting, and operational requirements that support Finance, Risk, and Operations functions.

• Have a track record of leading technology adoption, transformation, and change initiatives while building trusted relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.

Experience within energy trading, financial services, or other regulated industries would be an advantage, as would previous involvement in consolidating legacy reporting environments into strategic enterprise platforms.
