Reporting to General Manager Victoria Workers Compensation you will lead a team of business performance specialists and will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, performance insights, innovation with strong delivery frameworks to support the strategic and operational goals of the business.

About the role:

Responsibilities: Head of Portfolio Performance Insights & Delivery

• Manage and analyse data to provide actionable insights that drive business performance and support strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
• Develop and implement innovative reporting tools to monitor and enhance operational, customer, and financial performance.
• Identify performance trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders, including Heads of Departments and the General Manager.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, offering insights and recommendations on data, performance, and innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and execute key initiatives.
• Lead the integration of emerging technologies into data and performance management processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Oversee the delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to support effective project management and drive continuous improvement in operational performance.

About you:

• Tertiary Qualifications
• Proven experience in data management, performance insights, and strategic advisory roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Expertise in financial planning, modelling, and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and implement governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and innovations in data and performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation and Regulation.
• Highly developed commercial outlook.
