We are executing a multi-year Platform Evolution program to modernize our core technology foundation, embed intelligent AI capabilities, and build scalable, future-proof systems that support sustained growth, efficient M&A integration, and superior advisor and client experiences.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and long-term evolution of Lido’s core technology platform. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building and owning the foundational platform capabilities that will power our most critical business initiatives for years to come — including components of infrastructure for central AI intelligence layer, Orchestration & Integration Engine, Lido Data Operations Platform, and deep enterprise integrations across Salesforce, custodians, and other core systems.

You will serve as the central technical leader and key partner across the entire technology organization — working hand-in-hand with the Data Platform team, Data Science & AI team, Salesforce engineers, Infrastructure & Resilience team, Delivery Management, and the Architecture Committee to ensure cohesive, scalable, and high-impact platform delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of core platform capabilities, including:
  • Orchestration & Integration Engine
  • Components of infrastructure for central AI intelligence layer
  • Lido Data Operations Platform (governance, audit trail, ontology, and monitoring)
  • Salesforce platform enhancements and enterprise integrations
  • Application development framework and reusable platform services
• Build and lead strong cross-functional partnerships with the Data Platform team, Data Science & AI team, Salesforce engineers, Infrastructure & Resilience team, and Delivery Management to align platform strategy, eliminate silos, and accelerate delivery of unified capabilities.
• Partner closely with our technology infrastructure service provider (e.g., Align) to design and provision efficient Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions that support scalable, secure, and observable platform operations.
• Drive platform modernization while maintaining the highest standards for security, compliance, auditability, and resilience in a regulated wealth management environment.
• Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform governance.
• Collaborate effectively with our implementation partner and internal delivery squads to execute the Platform Evolution program.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles, preferably in wealth management, asset management, or fintech.
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and integrations (including Agentforce, Flow, and custom development).
• Strong background building orchestration engines, integration platforms, event-driven architectures, and real-time data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with modern data and AI platforms (Snowflake, Cortex AI, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks is highly valued).
• Proven experience with Vibe and Spec driven development methodologies.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, multi-year platform modernization programs in agile, cross-functional environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and influence across multiple technical teams (Data Platform, Data Science & AI, Salesforce, Infrastructure, etc.).
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technology and business teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in RIA / family-office technology environments or similar highly regulated financial services settings.
• Familiarity with wealth management workflows (onboarding, client 360° profiles, investment operations, trading, and reporting).
• Exposure to AI agent development and intelligent automation.
• Demonstrated success in building sustainable platform organizations through strong cross-team collaboration.
