Head of Plant & Machinery (Rolling Stock)

Location & Working Hours
- Based at KL Workshop
- 6 days a week

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational management of all plant, machinery, vehicles, and workshop functions supporting rail and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure asset availability, regulatory compliance, cost control, safety, and disciplined workforce management across depots and project sites.
- Lead preventive maintenance, asset management, and workshop operations to support project delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- 7–15 years of experience in plant & machinery management within rail, infrastructure, or heavy construction environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large fleets of plant, machinery, and vehicles.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance, licensing, insurance, and accident claims.

About the Company & Project
- The employer is a major Malaysian main contractor and rail engineering specialist (non-GLC).
- The current hiring need is for a rail project involving track works, civil structures, signaling, electrification, and depots.
- The position reports directly to the Group CFO.
