Want to be part of something exciting?
Alternative Heat are one of the leading players in the future of decarbonising commercial heating and data centre cooling systems.
We design, fabricate, surface finish, assemble and deliver modular offsite solutions to sites all across Europe for some of the biggest names in the world saving them time and money.
A locally owned company with a big future, we are delivering on our ambitions by growing by 40% a year over the past 4 years, but we haven't lost our family style connections. We develop small close-knit teams around a larger framework, and we want you to be part of it.
Planning, forecasting, programme management, capacity optimisation, and continuous improvement — we’re looking for strong capability across these areas. If you bring depth in some and the ambition to grow in others, we’ll support that development.
Who will you work with?
Our Planning & Forecasting function is central to aligning projects, manufacturing, and resources across the Business Unit. Working closely with the Business Unit Manager and senior leadership across Commercial, Manufacturing, HSE, Quality, and Plant Assets, your focus will be on enabling predictable delivery, optimising capacity, and supporting sustainable growth.
If you’re results-focused, care about what really matters, and want to lead teams that take pride in getting things done properly — you’ll fit right in.
Want to shape strategy, drive predictability, and influence how projects, resources, and manufacturing flow — no problem. Prefer to focus on delivering accurate plans, forecasts, and insights that support execution — no problem. With our growth plans, there are opportunities for impact and progression for leaders who demonstrate the right mindset.

The role involves leading and developing planning and scheduling teams to ensure projects and operations remain efficient, accurate, and on track. It focuses on using data, forecasting, and available systems to manage demand, resources, and capacity across multiple sites, while turning insights into practical actions. You’ll work closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Contracts, and other leaders to identify risks, resolve challenges, and improve operational performance.
