We are currently looking for a new colleague to join Ignitis Polska team, where you’ll be responsible for origination activities. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Setting priority markets and products, defining clear focus areas for originators
  • Preparing and maintaining regular market and product analyses with emphasis on transaction opportunities
  • Ensuring close cooperation with traders and portfolio managers
  • Monitoring broader market and product developments to identify cross-market and cross-commodity opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with all company rules, procedures, and limitations related to transaction origination and approval processes
  • Preparing, presenting, and continuously updating project documentation
  • Coordinating project development with departments such as legal, risk, and credit, including obtaining necessary approvals
  • Managing resource allocation and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients while identifying new industry opportunities

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent in economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector (gas, power, environmental products), including sales, trading, structured products, and derivatives
  • Extensive knowledge of software used in energy markets
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office
  • Fluent Polish language skills and good working proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
