For a Leading Dry bulk Shipowner and Operator

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all operations related to dry bulk shipping, for 25 Vessels, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure alignment in operational and sales objectives.
• Monitor market trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve high performance.
• Manage key relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and port authorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations management within the dry bulk shipping sector.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of dry bulk shipping operations and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.
