Manage an OD team or Program globally, that plans and runs projects/programs with major impact on technology, organization/people, structures and processes in order to optimize performance and increase customer value by improving safety, quality, delivery and cost.
This role will report to Head of Operations & Supply Chain of BU Marine Solutions
Qingdao and Kunshan will be preferred, but other base location in China can be considered
Key tasks:
Manage a global team of Project Managers/specialists/Process Managers.
Member of the OD (Operations Development)/LC (Large Country) management team.
Interface with other OD Managers/teams, Operations Management team and Business Unit globally.
Generate, prioritize and fulfil demand in operations and Business Units.
Develop/Execute the Operations/LC strategy.
Secure key competences and resources for the team.
Secure OD Project Excellence in the team. Chair/Participate in relevant steering committees.
Act as a Competence Owner (if applicable).
Foster a performance culture in Operations.
Set and follow up targets for the team, broken down from Operations overall level (Cascading the strategy).
Competencies, experience and attitudes to do the job:
Project Management - Minimum level 2(5 years of experience)
Handover on-going initiatives
Define & manage next big step for BUMAS Operations
Coach other resources in Project Management
BU & international - good level in English, able to manage international projects & different cultures
Support developments in China
Support global projects
ALPS & LSS - Minimum GB, BB if possible, knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing

Support in Technology Development
Support in CLAIMs / leakages investigations
Support in performance development, including local supply chain
Qualification (Education/Certification/Working experience):
Bachelor degree of science or equivalent experience
Above 8 years of experience, autonomous, international
Be open and communicative
Have high integrity and strategic perspective
Take initiatives and see opportunities
Alfa Laval / Operations concepts and strategies, PROMAL, DMAIC, ODPC
Leadership, ability to federate teams
Communication, ability to be clear and synthetic, ability to talk in front of a group
Change management
Business understanding, costs & benefits, VOC, understanding of stakeholders expectations
Structured and analytical
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 is a plus.
