The Ideal Candidate

You’re a strategic and commercially astute leader who thrives in high-paced, complex manufacturing environments.

• Graduate calibre, with strong critical reasoning skills and decision-making ability
• 10+ years leading large-scale FMCG or high-risk RTE food manufacturing operations
• Proven leadership as a Factory Manager, Operations Director, or similar senior role
• Solid grasp of Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies
• Strong working knowledge of own-label manufacturing, retailer standards, and short shelf-life products
• Qualifications in H&S and Food Hygiene
• Competence across strategic planning, people development, change management, and commercial thinking

Your Key Responsibilities

This is a key role for someone ready to step into (or already operating as) a Site Director, General Manager, or Head of Operations, with the autonomy to make a real impact and the support of the wider Sofina Group to drive results.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business strategy into a clear, actionable plan owned by the Site Leadership Team
• Deliver against all production, people, and financial performance targets
• Identify opportunities to improve site efficiency through process optimisation and capital investment
• Embed strong governance and use of KPIs to guide performance improvement plans (PIPs)
• Build a culture of challenge, empowerment, and continuous improvement across the site
• Champion food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards with a focus on quality culture
• Create and sustain a safe working environment aligned with H&S policies and SHE objectives
• Lead the delivery of the site’s CI / Lean / MANEX agenda using structured problem-solving techniques
