Job Accountabilities
Leadership
Evaluate overall operations and develop short-and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives. Oversee all distribution services to ensure company and customer requirements are met
Oversee job assignments and lines of authority and make staffing decisions as needed.
Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about changing/adding/discontinuing services
Proper deployment and interpretation of analysed data in order to arrive at strategic and operational decisions
Strategic Planning
Be a part of the strategic planning process and setting up directions to ensure achievements of company objectives
Actively participate in senior management meetings to share ideas, evaluate options and set policies
Communicate decisions and solve problems both formally in meetings and informally through interaction with others. Represent the company at public and private meetings
Measurement Analysis & knowledge
To acquire local and Global trends in logistics and supply chain management domain pertaining to Selected Industry verticals and take steps to action the related aspects to promote latest concepts, models, technology in servicing the clients
Take appropriate action to meet the operational performance goals on monthly basis by ensuring effective performance reviews with the Clusters
To improve the knowledge base in 3PL business within the company by conducting regular knowledge sharing sessions. Monitor and execute job rotation for the predicated persons in the Clusters to acquire more knowledge in selected industry verticals
Process management
Accountable for all the ISO/OHSAS required process adherence of the Customer accounts and Clusters at large
Financials
Achieve operational financial performance while focusing on waste management and ensuring effective Cash Flow management
Networking & Business Development
Minimum Knowledge/Experience/Training/Qualifications for Position
Holds a Degree in Supply Chain Management along with an MBA
Brings over 10 years of experience in Operations and General Management
Demonstrates strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Proven ability in people management and building effective professional relationships
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
