Position: Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq

Contract Details: Full time, permanent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community.

As the Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Obstetrics & Gynecology department, including managing a team of healthcare professionals, developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Obstetrics & Gynecology department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management.
• Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department and make necessary changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in Obstetrics & Gynecology and integrate them into the department's operations.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with staff, patients, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide guidance and support to staff in handling complex cases and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
