Position: Head of Medicine

Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq

Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Medicine for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the medical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient healthcare services.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of medical staff.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination and integration of services.
• Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the department's budget and resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the medical team.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in the medical field, and incorporate them into the department's practices.
• Act as a liaison between the medical department and other departments within the company.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and medical professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a physician of which 3 yrs is in the senior medical leadership role.
• Board certification
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a medical team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
