  • Lead, coach and develop teams across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Maintain high standards of risk management, governance, operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage third party vendors and service providers to ensure strong service outcomes.
  • Provide leadership reporting and stakeholder communication on service performance, risks and improvement initiatives.

What's in it for me?

This is an opportunity to lead a critical international technology support function within a globally connected banking business. You will work closely with Financial Markets, Treasury and business leaders across multiple regions, helping shape the future direction of technology support services while leading teams supporting front office and business critical environments. You will also benefit from:

  • A senior leadership role within Westpac Institutional Bank.
  • Exposure to global Financial Markets and Treasury operations.
  • The opportunity to shape and transform technology support services across multiple international locations.
  • A collaborative and globally connected working environment.
  • The opportunity to lead and develop an experienced international team.
  • A comprehensive range of health, wellbeing, lifestyle and financial benefits

What do I need?

We are looking for an experienced technology support leader with a strong background in Financial Markets, trading floor technology or enterprise technology operations.

  • Significant experience in technology operations, production support or service management within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Markets technology, users and trading environments.
  • Experience leading international teams across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, including experience working with senior business and technology leaders.
  • Experience managing major incidents, service delivery and operational risk within complex environments.
