Purpose of role:

Head of Marketing in Vietnam is responsible to plan and drive the strategic execution of marketing initiatives for both VDS and IF category by aligning with global growth platforms, embedding campaigns in consumer and market insights, and delivering measurable results with a primary focus on financial KPIs and the organization's growth objectives The role requires a strategic thinker and leader who can deliver on our marketing vision and guide the marketing team from conceptualization to execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owner of brand strategy and execution, engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, healthcare professionals (HCPs), retailers, regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and media partners.

  • Champion the voice of consumers and manage a holistic consumer experience (from product to online to store) in the market across different product segments.

  • Strong analytical skill, able to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Leading & facilitating the delivery of marketing plans. Partner with global and local teams to convert market knowledge, insights, and analysis into actionable market plans.

  • Lead the implementation of global projects including NPD projects in market, ensuring they are strategically led, embedded in consumer and market insight, and deliver measurable results, manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI.

  • Lead the development and delivery of future-ready marketing capabilities within the marketing practitioner community

  • Manage the development of the markets communications strategy utilising global master brand campaign.

  • Embed the global brand identity across consumer touchpoints including in packaging, in store, comms, education materials etc. according to brand guidelines.

  • Ensure marketing efficiency and effectiveness metrics are built, utilised, and reviewed as part of business performance.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree or above qualifications in Marketing, Business or relevant disciplines

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in healthcare and/or consumer goods, ideally within multinational or matrixed organizations.

  • Strong cross-cultural collaboration skills, with a proven ability to drive outcomes across diverse markets, including Vietnam.

  • Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams, including functional, geographic, and agile/indirect team structures.

  • Proven track record in delivering consumer-facing NPD and marketing campaigns, supported by strong project management expertise.

  • Solid business acumen and people leadership capabilities, including financial understanding, demand planning, and the ability to build high-performing teams.

  • Experience within global and regional teams would be highly beneficial.

  • Experience developing or delivering a marketing efficiency and effectiveness curriculum with a focus on delivering ROI and building capability, in regulated environment

  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English

  • Ability to work across diverse cultures and collaborate with stakeholders in different regions.
