About Your New Role

Following a recent internal promotion, an opportunity has become available for a Head of Marketing & Product within Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Reporting to the Director Commercial Vehicles (CV), the Head of Marketing & Product will lead the Marketing and Product team and form the strategy for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, including portfolio and pricing strategy, while increasing consumer engagement through a competitive product range and thoughtful, relevant communications that bring the brand's values to life.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Plan and execute the strategy for the marketing and product functions, including but not limited to communications, sponsorships, funnel and portfolio mix for the brand
• Manage the Marketing and Product team, fostering the development and motivation of staff
• Lead the development and maintenance of the customer events, CRM system and events plan activities
• Provide strategic oversight of Product and Pricing strategies and support their integration into dealer network operations
• Manage all the marketing agencies and supplier agreements for the brand
• Manage the Volkswagen Commercial vehicles marketing budget

About You:

• Extensive experience in senior marketing roles, ideally within the automotive industry
• Experience across the full marketing mix, including brand, retail, digital, CRM, customer engagement and budget management
• Strong agency and supplier relationship management skills
• Proven leadership capability with experience leading and developing high performing teams
• Sound knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, strategic planning and market research
• Experience developing and delivering integrated, multi-channel, campaigns to support both brand and sales objectives
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem solving
