Head of Marketing and Communications (d/f/m) - DHL Consulting Europe

Are you looking for a role where you can make a visible impact from day one? Join us as our Head of Marketing and Communications (d/f/m) based in Bonn, Germany, and become a key strategic partner to our CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for DHL Consulting's external marketing and social media activities, as well as our internal communication.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the external marketing strategy in alignment with DHL Consulting's business objectives, market requirements, corporate guidelines, and policies
- Evolve DHL Consulting’s social media profiles, webpage, and blogs in context of the overall marketing strategy and manage their continued optimization (e.g., running campaigns to strengthen brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement)
- Further strengthen DHL Consulting’s brand positioning and support the Recruiting team with campaigns to attract qualified graduate, young professional, and experienced hires
- Track, measure, and analyse marketing and communication performance, drive data-informed decision-making in external marketing. Develop KPI-system further where needed
- Support the CEO and selected senior management team members in building their personal brand (e.g., managing the social media profile including editorial planning, content management, and copy creation)
- Develop and execute an internal communication strategy with a special focus on leadership communication
- Run internal communication plans and processes in close alignment with key internal stakeholders and topic owners. Enhance existing internal communication formats as required
- Prepare and review the quality and content of employee-related communications to be published in various channels
- Manage internal resources involved in marketing and communication activities
- Cooperate, negotiate with, and manage external service providers such as agencies to implement marketing and communications projects
- Plan and manage the marketing and communication budget
Requirements
- Degree in a business discipline or comparable education
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in marketing and/or communication, preferably in a dynamic consulting or start-up environment
- Initial experience in people leadership, combined with a collaborative and inclusive leadership approach and a strong commitment to developing and inspiring team members to reach their full potential
- Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, plus first-hand experience in content management (i.e. blogs, websites)
- Strong understanding of B2B content and social media marketing, SEO, personal and employer branding
- Experience in performance marketing (especially LinkedIn) is a plus
- Project management experience to drive and deliver project results in a matrix organization
- Conceptual and innovative thinker
- Diligence and high-quality standards in content and process delivery
- Convincing and engaging personality with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in core Office 365 applications and common digital marketing applications (e.g., WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console)
- Business-fluent English skills (written and spoken) with excellent communication and content creation capabilities
