Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic marketing direction of our cardiometabolic portfolio. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and implement end-to-end marketing strategies for the cardiometabolic portfolio, balancing long-term vision with effective tactical execution.
  • Oversee promotional activities, and launch excellence to ensure compelling, compliant communication to healthcare practitioners and patients.
  • Conduct market research and new product planning for upcoming launches, leveraging consumer insights and industry trends to drive portfolio growth and innovative market entry strategies.
  • Built an in-depth understanding of the patient-as-consumer journey, identifying key influences across the weight management and metabolic health ecosystems.
  • Develop and execute Vietnam obesity and cardiometabolic (CM) marketing strategy, including brand positioning, awareness campaigns, hybrid channel marketing, and digital performance initiatives to drive portfolio performance.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to optimize execution, and identify new business development opportunities through cross-sector analysis and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and develop a high-performance marketing team of four direct reports and represent the business at regional and external events to position Novo Nordisk Vietnam as a leader in cardiometabolic innovation.

Your skills & qualifications

We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and possess over 10 years of marketing experience with strong brand-building expertise, including more than 5 years in people management.
  • Demonstrate strong brand-building expertise across hybrid backgrounds, such as OTC, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or other consumer-driven categories with relevant life-sciences exposure; experience in regulated environments and cardiometabolic or obesity therapy area experience is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead product launches, conduct market research, and manage complex stakeholder environments in multi-country and cross-cultural settings.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and cross-functional collaboration, resulting in consistent business growth and effective teamwork.
  • Fluent in English and combine strategic thinking and business acumen with advanced analytical and insight-driven approaches; known for resilience and collaborative mindset.
