A leading global Food & Beverage solutions company is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Market Segment APAC
to lead regional market segment development, innovation initiatives, and growth strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for connecting B2B product development with forward-thinking B2C market concepts, driving regional business growth, and strengthening market leadership through innovation, digital transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
- Develop and execute regional market segment strategies aligned with global business objectives
- Drive category growth plans and identify new business opportunities across APAC
- Lead go-to-market initiatives and customer-focused innovation strategies
- Identify portfolio gaps and collaborate with business units to develop strategic market entry solutions
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional market segment team
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management for direct and indirect reports
- Foster collaboration across commercial, marketing, innovation, and application teams
- Support talent development and capability building across the region
Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Drive innovative B2C-focused concepts linked to B2B product development
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve business processes and value generation
- Enhance the use of digital tools, systems, and data-driven decision making
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with sales and business teams to convert opportunities into successful commercial initiatives
- Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across APAC
Operational & Financial Management
- Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance for the market segment
- Monitor project execution and ensure achievement of business objectives and KPIs
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, category management, marketing, or market segment management within the Food & Beverage industry
- Strong regional APAC exposure within an international business environment
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Experience in B2C concept development linked with B2B commercial strategies
- Strong understanding of innovation management and digital transformation initiatives
