To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Director (m/f/d). In your new role you are responsible for the Manufacturing Execution Systems for Fresenius Kabi globally. You define overall MES solution portfolio in close alignment with PU and BU responsible persons, as well as the MES target architecture in close alignment with infrastructure, IT/OT integration and Engineering teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Define required MES solution for each production unit and create holistic implementation plan, including overall investment and value contribution

• Drive harmonization and standardization across PUs, while considering individual requirements and business cases for each PU

• Accountable for the alignment of the implementation roadmap with the TechOps leadership for all BUs, and manufacturing site heads, including budget and capacity planning, and the initiation and steering of respective implementation projects

• Directly responsible for budget control of all MES implementation projects, including the accurate recording of efforts and external costs according to the Fresenius Kabi standard processes

• Ensures timely and within budget completion of the projects in their area of responsibility, including setting up project structures for successful project completion, e.g., Steering Committee setups for escalations

• Ensures adherence to global architecture standards and compliance with IT security, data privacy and GxP regulations for all MES solutions

• Creates and implements comprehensive training programs for staff to ensure continuous career growth, development and cross training

• Maintains awareness of current pharmaceutical manufacturing needs, requirements and standards

• Drives stable operation of MES systems across Fresenius Kabi in close collaboration with suppliers and other IT teams

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field required; Master’s degree preferred

• At least 10 years of experience in project and program management with a proven record of achievement

• At least 7 years of professional experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems and IT/OT integration technology

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing, global IT teams

• Proactive, structured, and collaborative working style with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence at all levels of the organization

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
