We’re looking for an experienced finance leader to join us as Head of Management Accounting. You’ll ensure our management accounts, budgets and latest estimates are accurate, timely and insightful, giving teams across the business the clarity they need to delivery our goals.
Leading the Management Accounting team, you’ll strengthen reporting, optimise systems and processes and turn complex data into meaningful commercial insight. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Innovation & Development to support better decisions and sustainable performance.
Deliver high quality management reporting and analysis that helps leaders understand performance, manage risk and act with confidence.
Develop brand, customer and channel profitability analysis, explain key variances and provide decision support across our commercial and operational teams.
Optimise existing reporting and develop new systems and processes, including the off-invoice discount analysis and accruals process.
Create clarity, build capability and support Management Accountants at different stages of their careers to perform at their best.
Strong, relevant management accounting experience (at least 3 years post qualified), combined with commercial experience and a track record of producing high quality accounts, budgets, forecasts and analysis.
Experience of management and developing a team of Management Accountants with varying levels of experience.
Excellent analytical skills, strong numeracy and good IT capability. Experience of implementing or using integrated systems would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge constructively, simplify complexity and influence stakeholders across the business.
A team player who is resilient, curious, detail conscious and decisive, with the ambition to make an impact in a senior FMCG finance role.
The role is based in Leeds, where our hybrid model is 2/3 days a week in the office. You will be required to travel to our Leyland Production site and other external locations for face-to-face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
