Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Head of Maintenance in Bangkok Maintenance office.

This is your role. What part will you play?

The Head of Maintenance provides strategic leadership for the M&E maintenance organization, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long‑term asset performance. This role ensures that all maintenance activities support safe operations, high service reliability, and strong stakeholder confidence.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Provide strategic direction to the M&E maintenance organization and lead section managers in both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term planning.
  • Define clear responsibilities and performance expectations for all subordinate teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead internal and external high‑level meetings, representing the maintenance organization with professionalism and authority.

Customer & Stakeholder Focus

  • Act as the primary liaison for all contractual and commercial matters, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and customer‑centric communication.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external authorities, and the client to address technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance services consistently support a reliable, high‑quality passenger experience.

Operational Excellence & Safety

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are executed safely and in accordance with established engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain overall accountability for the performance, availability, and reliability of all M&E systems and assets.
  • Lead the development and enforcement of the organization’s safety policy and ensure adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

Financial Leadership & Resource Optimization

  • Hold full responsibility for the entire maintenance budget, ensuring cost‑effective service delivery and efficient resource allocation.
  • Prepare and recommend annual budgets, investment proposals, and asset renewal strategies aligned with long‑term operational needs.
  • Oversee the planning and monitoring of expenditures to ensure compliance with financial targets and performance metrics.

Risk, Compliance & Performance Management

  • Identify and manage organizational risks related to maintenance operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens standards, contractual obligations, and statutory regulations.
  • Initiate disciplinary measures where necessary to uphold performance, conduct, and safety standards.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives that enhance system availability, reduce lifecycle costs, and optimize maintenance processes.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and capability development across the maintenance organization.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Bachelor’s degree/Certificate in a relevant technical discipline, with extensive senior‑level experience spanning in complex operational or engineering environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in administration and project management, with a strong track record of steering large‑scale initiatives—ideally within the public transportation or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven executive management capability, including strategic negotiation, stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Substantial experience in designing, governing, and implementing enterprise‑level safety frameworks, preferably in public transportation or similarly regulated industries.
  • Advanced digital and analytical competency, including executive‑level understanding of data‑driven decision‑making, technology adoption, and operational performance tools.
  • Deep knowledge of strategic analysis, investigative methodologies, and risk management principles, with the capacity to apply them at an organizational level.
  • A visionary leadership profile, with the ability to define strategic direction, drive organizational transformation, and ensure alignment with long‑term business objectives.
  • Strong proficiency in English, suitable for executive communication, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration, with the ability to represent the organization in high‑level internal and external forums.
