Job Description

Your tasks

  • Lead and ensure compliance with the department’s KPIs and objectives by implementing appropriate methods to achieve the goals assigned to the department.
  • Control and manage maintenance costs to keep the Business Units within the established targets; in conjunction with the Production Team Leader, make the appropriate decisions regarding the purchase/use of spare parts, services, consumables, tools for technical floor staff, and technical modifications (what, when, why).
  • Plan and manage the necessary resources for the business areas and the maintenance budget, in accordance with sales forecasts and past consumption, making the necessary adjustments throughout the year.
  • Communicate to the Maintenance Team the objectives derived from the plant strategy and the Brose Group, as well as their fulfillment.
  • Plan and manage the budget efficiently
  • Manage the necessary spare parts to be included in warehouse inventory using methodologies such as CUBO, line walks, critical spare parts lists, Problem Solving (PSS), and
    approvals for new machinery or equipment.
  • Plan and ensure training for the various competencies required within the team’s technical roles.
  • Carry out the duties assigned in the Responsibility Chart for occupational safety, energy, the environment, and health protection. (Procedure M1 070)
  • Ensure that your Production Team complies with the measures established in accordance with the ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 quality and environmental standards
  • Make appropriate decisions to resolve problems by fostering teamwork within the maintenance department and with other involved departments.
  • Apply and disseminate Brose’s business principles (FIRST).
  • Promote and implement the Brose Production System, as well as conduct benchmarking (internal and external).
  • Periodically evaluate staff using the PTM Performance Evaluation System

Your Profile

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in the industry, ideally in the automotive sector, performing maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • English B2
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ABB, Kika, and Fanuc robots
  • Promess and Kistler servo presses
  • Vision systems.
