Develop, propose, and manage the budget for the Logistics Department, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with transport providers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to secure optimal service quality and competitive costs for the company.
Research, plan, and implement effective transportation strategies that best meet the needs of the company, suppliers, and customers.
Analyze corporate logistics activities to identify the most cost-effective and efficient methods for transporting products, materials, and supplies.
Assess the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, including routing, shipping methods, product volume or mix, and carrier selection.
Negotiate with suppliers and customers to improve supply chain efficiency, service quality, and sustainability.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for logistics operations.
Plan and execute improvements to internal and external logistics systems, workflows, and processes.
Establish, monitor, and evaluate supply chain performance indicators to ensure operational effectiveness.
Oversee logistics staff, including workforce planning, task assignment, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, including customs offices, to support smooth logistics operations.
Monitor import and export processes to ensure full compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate closely with internal departments, forwarding companies, and shipping lines to ensure timely and seamless delivery operations.
Identify operational issues, provide practical solutions, and ensure timely problem resolution.
Supervise, guide, and support subordinates to enhance logistics operational efficiency and productivity.
Develop team capabilities through on-the-job coaching, knowledge sharing, and performance guidance.
Prepare functional and soft-skills training materials to support staff development.
Manage the team effectively to ensure consistent service quality for both internal and external stakeholders.
Understand the requirements of internal departments and propose solutions to improve cross-functional collaboration.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant fields.
More than 5 years of experience in Logistics, with at least 2 years in a similar managerial or supervisory position.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good management and leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Able to work effectively under pressure.
Good English communication skills.
Willing to relocate to Tây Ninh and work onsite.
