Own and oversee enterprise network operations, including:
Core, aggregation, access, and data center networks
LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Internet, DC interconnects
Ensure high availability, performance, capacity, and scalability of all networks.
Define and enforce network standards, architectures, and operational procedures
Lead network modernization initiatives (SDN, automation, IPv6, cloud connectivity).
2. Service Monitoring
Ensure monitoring of all service components, timely, detection, and response.
Ensure effective incident response, resolution, and post‑incident root cause analysis.
Define and monitor security use cases, playbooks, and response SLAs
3. Service Operation (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
Act as the single executive owner for:
Major network or security incidents
Crisis management and executive communications
Chair Major Incident Reviews (MIR) and drive permanent remediation.
Ensure tight integration with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration).
Reduce repeat incidents and MTTR through analytics and improvement programs.
4. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, and local regulatory requirements
Implement and maintain network & security controls aligned with risk appetite.
Support internal/external audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance assessments.
Own operational risk registers for network and security domains.
5. Service Levels & Performance Management
Define and manage SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs for network and security operations.
Ensure achievement of uptime, performance, latency, and security KPIs
Lead continuous service quality and customer experience improvement
6. Technology, Vendor & Budget Management
Own operational technology roadmap for network & security platforms.
Manage strategic vendors and system integrators (OEMs, MSSPs).
Control operational budgets, licenses, support contracts, and renewals.
Lead RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations
7. People & Capability Development
Lead and mentor Network Operations and NOC/SOC teams
Build 24×7 shift models, succession plans, and skills development programs.
Promote a strong security‑first and availability‑focused culture
Academic Qualification
B.Sc in CSE / ECE / ETE
Job Experience Required
10-12 years of relevant experience with 5-6 years at a managerial role.
Must have WAF, ACI, GSLB, Secure Proxy, DNS-Sec, WLC, ISE experience
Required Capabilities
Basic Knowledge of GSM Technology & Architecture
Basic Knowledge of Transmission Design and Dimension
Sound knowledge of Information Security and IT Audit processes
Essential knowledge on:
-Cisco wireless routers and switching
-Networking
-Network Planning, designing
-IP Network Basics
-Wireless Communication
-Security services ACL, IPS, NG-SIEM, EDR,
-Cisco security product ASA, NG-IPS/IDS, FTD-Firepower Threat Defense
f5 WAF etc.
Hands on knowledge of Data Center Passive & Active networking especially on Cisco Platform
