DHL Global Forwarding is looking for an exceptional Head of IT & BPO - Gulf to lead the next phase of our digital transformation journey across the region, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape and execute the Gulf cluster IT strategy, ensuring technology investments, systems innovation, and business process excellence directly support our growth ambitions and operational priorities. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, driving the delivery of modern applications, infrastructure, and integrated technology solutions that enable sustainable competitive advantage.

In this Head of IT & BPO - Gulf position,

• Contribute to develop IT strategy in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.
• Ensure design and implementation of IT plans, roadmaps and migration strategy for IT platform/ infrastructure and applications.
• Prepare plans and control delivery of complex projects covering multiple aspects of IT platform/ infrastructure including analysis, development and administration of IT systems software, hardware and databases.
• Oversee the delivery of agreed programs and projects within quality, time, cost and business constraints.
• Lead digitalization priorities for all core operational systems and customer facing applications in country.
• Balancing understanding for IT-systems and related constraints whilst understanding our business priorities and ensuring needs of “end users” are met in pragmatic and cost-effective manner . Keeping in mind the IRR & SE priorities for the region.
• Close collaboration with regional BuIT/BPO/Ops counter parts and country super users to run an excellent business process management system harmonizing where possible between the regions.
• Study issues, determine opportunities and introduce best practices for IT_BPO focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead teams of IT managers and Digitalization experts.
• Ensure appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership for major areas of the sub-region.
• Develop a team spirit of effectiveness in the team.

Now, here is what we need from you!

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, Digital Transformation, Business Process Optimization, or Technology Management within a complex, multinational environment.
• Good Knowledge of different realities in the MEA region
• Exposure and knowledge of the Global DGF entity

Education

• Bachelor Degree or Higher in Information management or general management
