JioBLAST is a joint venture between Jio's RISE Worldwide and the Danish esports company BLAST ApS, created to grow and shape the esports industry in India through world-class tournaments, competitive entertainment IPs and long-term publisher partnerships.
The Head of IP Development & Publisher Relations will lead JioBLAST’s IP development and publisher relations function, creating and progressing new esports and competitive entertainment IPs in partnership with game publishers, platforms and wider gaming ecosystem stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine strong esports / gaming knowledge, external credibility, internal organisation and commercial astuteness. We are not simply selling standard products or sponsorship packages. This role requires a consultative sales mindset: the ability to understand partner objectives, shape flexible commercial models, and create IPs that work for publishers, players, audiences and JioBLAST.
The ideal candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, manage multiple live opportunities, produce clean and insightful proposal materials, guide a small team, and turn strategic ideas into clear, commercially viable IP opportunities.
