Modern Architecture: Familiarity with API-driven banking (RESTful APIs, gRPC), event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Stakeholder Management, Compliance & Risk (20%)
Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between your team and key stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Legal, Risk, Information Security, and Compliance. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all deposits and payments products strictly adhere to local and international financial regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, payment networks, and core banking providers, ensuring deliverables meet SLA and contractual obligations.
Technical Analysis & System Delivery (20%)
Technical Translation: Guide Technical Analysts in translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications, API contracts, data schemas, and system workflows. Architecture Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Lead Engineers to ensure product designs align with modern, scalable, and secure architectural standards (e.g., microservices, cloud-native infrastructure). Quality Assurance: Oversee the definition of comprehensive testing strategies, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing, to ensure zero-defect delivery. Production Support: Act as an escalation point for critical production incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrence.
Roadmap Alignment: Partner with business leaders to translate the overarching Deposits and Payments business strategy into a concrete, prioritized product roadmap. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from conceptualization, market research, and business case development through to launch, maintenance, and decommissioning. Agile Governance: Ensure the team maintains a healthy, well-prioritized product backlog with clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.
