We’re on the hunt for a bold and brilliant Senior Manager/ Head of Internal Communications – a strategic thinker, influential leader, and powerful storyteller who’s ready to reimagine how we connect with our people from the front-line to our head office populations. .
We are looking for an established Internal Communications Manager or Lead who is ready for the next step and excited by the opportunity to build and own an internal communications strategy.
This is a role for someone who is keen to take real ownership from day one, comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and motivated by the chance to transform and elevate our internal communications function. You wil be accountable for establishing strong foundations first to enable the function's long-term evolution, while building credibility through visible, high-impact delivery.
Reporting into the Head of People Experience, you will be accountable for shaping and delivering our an internal communication strategy that connects our business priorities with the daily experiences of our people – from our warehouse colleagues based in our automated fulfillment centres, van driver community on the frontline, to those planning logistics across the UK and supporting the wider business behind the scenes .
Leading a team of six, you’ll take full ownership of our internal communications strategy – driving clarity, culture, and connection at every level of the business.You’ll advise senior leaders, champion culture and engagement, and ensure that every message has impact. From warehouse floors to boardroom briefings, your work will shape how our people feel about Ocado Logistics, every single day.

This role is ideal for a senior internal communications leader who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments and is ready to take on real strategic ownership. We're looking for someone who knows what great internal communications looks like and can help us continue evolving and strengthening our function.
You will be able to balance long-term strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands, knowing when to focus on the bigger picture and when to dive into the detail. You will be equally comfortable shaping strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves and supporting delivery when needed - bringing a hands-on approach and a genuine desire to help us build a best-in-class internal communications offering.
