The Role

As Head of Technology & Information Security, you will lead CBH’s enterprise technology operations and information security function, ensuring our systems, platforms and services are secure, reliable and aligned to the needs of the business.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role will provide strategic and operational leadership across IT operations, cyber security, infrastructure, service management, operational technology risk, AI, modern platforms and end-user services. You will partner with leaders across CBH to support business change, strengthen technology resilience, and continue building a trusted and secure technology environment for our people, growers and customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead CBH’s technology operations and information security capability, ensuring services are secure, reliable and aligned to business priorities.

  • Continue to strengthen CBH’s security culture through awareness, education and practical uplift in secure behaviours.

About You:

  • Senior technology leader with demonstrated previous experience across IT operations, cyber security, service delivery or complex enterprise environments.
  • Collaborative and supportive leadership style, with the ability to coach teams and build trusted relationships.
  • Able to translate business and technology strategy into clear priorities, practical roadmaps and reliable outcomes.
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with experience navigating complex technical, commercial and security decisions.
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to influence effective outcomes and manage risk.
  • Understanding of cyber security, data protection, governance, risk and compliance obligations in a large organisation.
