Head of Human Resources
The Head of Human
Resources oversees the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent
acquisition, learning and development, performance management, employee
relations, compensation and benefits, and payroll administration. This role
ensures that HR policies, systems, and initiatives are aligned with
organizational goals, applicable labor regulations, and industry standards. The
position plays a strategic role in building a compliant, engaged, and
high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end HR
operations across the organization
- Oversee recruitment,
onboarding, training, and performance management processes
- Manage employee relations and
ensure effective handling of employee concerns
- Administer compensation,
benefits, and payroll processes
- Ensure compliance with labor
laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Develop and implement HR
policies, programs, and systems aligned with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in
Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a
related field
- At least 7–10 years of
progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial
role
- Experience within life
insurance or financial services is preferred
- Hands-on experience in
payroll administration and government compliance
- Strong knowledge of
Philippine labor laws, compensation frameworks, and regulatory standards
- Excellent interpersonal,
communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in HRIS
platforms, payroll systems, and MS Office applications
