Job Description

This executive position is responsible for leading the strategic delivery and expansion of the Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) arm within a Global Business Services (GBS) center. The successful leader will spearhead the transition of complex HR processes into the hub, manage regional budgets, drive digital transformation, and foster continuous improvement across multiple international entities.

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic direction of the HR Shared Service arm, ensuring efficient delivery of core HR process areas, business partnering, and performance management.
  • Transition & Transformation: Accountable for managing the full lifecycle of migrating new HR activities into the hub, mapping "AS-IS to TO-BE" frameworks, and leading enterprise-wide process transformation.
  • Operational & Financial Efficiency: Spearhead team and budget management, driving process simplification, standardizing workflows across regions, and leveraging cross-functional data for analytics and insights.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Foster strong collaboration across global entities, regions, clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors for optimal service delivery.
  • Talent & Technology Development: Drive strategy for people retention, talent utilization, and development within the HRSS, while evaluating and implementing innovative HR technology tools in alignment with business requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Proven track record in a senior leadership role within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Service Center (SSC) environment, specifically leading HR operations.
  • Migration Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience managing complex process transitions, change management, and setting up target operating models ("AS-IS / TO-BE").
  • Financial Acumen: Strong capability in budget management, resource optimization, and driving tangible operational cost efficiencies.
  • Tech & Data Savvy: Experience driving the evaluation and implementation of HR digital tools and technology, utilizing data analytics to generate enterprise-wide insights.
  • Governance & Controls: Experience maintaining strict adherence to internal compliance and global organizational controls during transformational shifts.
  • Leadership & Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative global networks and foster an inclusive culture of continuous improvement across diverse nationalities.
