Job Description

WANTED: Head of Growth & Partnerships (NDIS & Aged Care)

Location: Brisbane South (Underwood)

Hours: Permanent Full Time

Compensation: $100,000 Base + Super + Vehicle + Uncapped Commissions.

TAUS Care is growing. We are looking for a commercially minded candidate for the role of Head of Growth & Partnerships who already understands the disability and community services landscape and brings strong existing referral relationships across South East Queensland.

This role is suited to someone who already knows the sector, understands how referral pathways work, and can confidently build relationships that convert into sustainable participant growth.

If you are already well connected with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators, allied health professionals, hospitals, discharge teams, recovery coaches, and other referral stakeholders, we would like to hear from you.

About TAUS Care

TAUS Care is a Brisbane-based registered NDIS provider of in-home and community support services, delivering personalised disability supports across Queensland. We are about to launch our aged care services.

We support participants with a broad range of support needs, including complex care requirements, with a strong focus on person-centred, culturally responsive service delivery.

As we continue to grow, we are investing in strategic business development to strengthen referral partnerships, expand market presence, and support sustainable participant acquisition across our current and future service regions.

About your new role

Reporting directly to senior leadership who will support you along the way, this is a hands-on business development role with genuine autonomy.

You will work from an established strategic growth plan while developing and executing your own tactical business development activity to deliver measurable outcomes.

Your focus will be to build high-value referral relationships, maintain a strong opportunity pipeline, convert participant opportunities, and increase TAUS Care's visibility across the sector.

You won't just be hunting for leads behind the scenes; you will be the digital face of our brand. You will take ownership of our official social media channels, showcasing our impact, educating the community, and building a presence that attracts both high-value participants and top-tier staff.

Influence & Community Leadership

  • Drive Our Digital & Community Voice: You won't just be behind the scenes. You will take ownership of our official social media channels to educate the community, showcase participant success stories, and build a trusted brand presence that naturally attracts high-tier referral partners.
  • Strategic Autonomy: We trust our experts. You will have the freedom to design, pitch, and execute your own 30-60-90 day stakeholder engagement and community outreach strategy.
  • Seamless Care Transitions: Work hand-in-hand with our operations and executive team to ensure the participants you introduce experience a flawless, immediate transition into our care ecosystem. No operational bottlenecks, just exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow participant numbers across targeted regions through active business development.
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of referral opportunities.
  • Develop and execute tactical business development activity aligned with TAUS Care's growth strategy.
  • Establish and maintain referral relationships with key stakeholders including Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, allied health providers, hospitals, and community organisations.
  • Represent TAUS Care at networking events, stakeholder meetings, and relevant industry forums.
  • Promote TAUS Care's services and strengthen market visibility and brand presence.
  • Work closely with internal teams to progress enquiries through to participant onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and activity tracking.
  • Provide leadership with market insights, stakeholder feedback, and emerging growth opportunities.

About You

You are commercially and relationship driven. You feel very confident working autonomously and understand how to convert an existing strategic plan into actionable steps to bring in new business.

You already have an established network within disability, NDIS, community services, healthcare, or aged care. You know how to open doors, build trust, and convert opportunities.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven business development, sales, partnership, or growth experience
  • Strong existing relationships within the disability / NDIS / community services ecosystem
  • Extensive network of contacts within the NDIS sector, including established relationships with key referral sources
  • Strong understanding of NDIS structures, referral pathways, and stakeholder dynamics
  • Working knowledge of NDIS structures and referral pathways to effectively navigate stakeholder dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and convert leads
  • Experience managing a pipeline and working toward commercial KPIs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisation, reporting, and CRM discipline
  • Confidence working independently with limited supervision
  • A professional, credible, and polished external presence

Essential Requirements

  • Current Driver Licence
  • Willingness to travel across South East Queensland and occasionally further if required
  • Ability to use your own vehicle when needed
  • Comprehensive vehicle insurance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Blue Card
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
  • Australian work rights are required for this position

What We Offer

  • Permanent Full-Time role (38 hours per week)
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Uncapped incentive structure
  • Opportunity to shape a growing function with strong support from leadership team
  • Outcomes Over Optics: We value the strength of your community networks and the quality of the participants you bring in, not how many hours you spend at a desk. Enjoy the flexibility of a true field-leadership role.
  • Tools for Success: Provided with a fully maintained vehicle, premium tech, and an engagement budget to host and build relationships with key community stakeholders.
