KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and execute the Groups and SACCO Banking strategy in alignment with Retail Banking objectives to drive growth, revenue, and segment profitability.
Expand and deepen relationships with Groups, SACCOs, cooperatives, and related institutions to enhance portfolio value and customer lifetime engagement.
Lead the design and delivery of tailored financial solutions ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with evolving customer needs across the Groups and SACCO Banking lifecycle.
Monitor market trends, customer insights, and emerging opportunities to position the segment as a leader in financial inclusion and innovation.
Oversee portfolio performance management, including target-setting, analytics, arrears management, and implementation of initiatives to optimize returns.
Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector actors, regulators, and industry bodies to support market expansion and segment advocacy.
Drive customer experience excellence by ensuring effective service level agreements and seamless coordination across value-chain stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Groups and SACCO Banking team, fostering a performance-driven culture anchored on innovation, accountability, and customer focus.
Ensure efficient planning and utilization of resources to support business delivery, capability development, and operational effectiveness.
Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance by identifying key risks, reviewing audit outcomes, enforcing controls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
