What’s the role?

We are seeking an experienced Group Head of Compliance to lead and strengthen our group-wide property compliance framework. This pivotal role ensures that our operations remain safe, efficient, resilient, and aligned with regulatory best practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing, formalising, and evolving lettings compliance to improve risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
• Developing strong relationships with stakeholders across all divisions to promote compliance best practice.
• Supporting subject matter experts in managing risk across business areas.
• Collaborating with Talent Development and Front Line Operations to deliver engaging compliance training.
• Owning and managing Group risk registers, processes, and compliance documentation.
• Overseeing AML, Data Protection, and GDPR processes for the Group.
• Managing regulatory body registrations, reporting deadlines, and requirements.
• Providing expert guidance on complex branch-level issues in Sales and Lettings.
• Overseeing second-level complaint handling, legal responses, and PI notifications.
• Ensuring Directors are fully informed of risk status, regulatory matters, and emerging issues.

• Experience with property compliance is a must

• Expert knowledge of lettings/sales and compliance
• Strong organisational discipline – accurate, efficient, and deadline-driven.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, positive, and resilient mindset with a strong can-do approach.
• Ability to manage workload during peak periods while maintaining high performance.
• Confidence to ask the right questions to resolve issues quickly.
