
Dentsu is seeking a results-driven and visionary Head of Global Growth, Data & Technology to lead the global growth agenda for the D&T practice. This executive will be accountable for driving new business acquisition, expanding strategic client relationships, and scaling a high-performing global growth organization. Reporting to the Global Growth & Innovation Officer, this role owns the end-to-end growth lifecycle, including go-to-market strategy, demand generation, pipeline development, and deal execution, in close collaboration with practice leads across Media, Creative, and CXM.
The successful candidate will combine commercial rigor, consultative selling, and deep D&T expertise to position dentsu's data and technology capabilities as the connective tissue that amplifies the full power of the network. This individual will bring entrepreneurial energy, a collaborative mindset, and the commercial acumen to turn dentsu's Data & Technology capabilities into sustained, measurable growth - not in isolation, but as a catalyst for what dentsu can achieve together.
Business Growth & Solutioning
Serve as the primary growth catalyst for the D&T practice - obsessively focused on supporting Practices in winning new business and expanding existing client relationships through innovative, outcome-driven D&T solutions that create measurable, lasting value.
Design and execute a comprehensive global D&T growth strategy, aligning market targeting, pipeline development, and go-to-market execution to dentsu’s overall transformation positioning and commercial priorities.
Lead high-profile pitches in partnership with Media, Creative, and CXM and pursuit efforts end to-end developing compelling, client-centered narratives that articulate dentsu’s differentiated D&T value proposition with clarity, creativity, and commercial impact. Blend data, strategy, technology, and industry-specific insight to position dentsu as the partner of choice.
Own and drive proactive demand generation: build and manage a robust pipeline of high potential cross-sell and upsell opportunities, applying disciplined prospecting, qualification, and deal acceleration to convert pipeline into closed business at scale.
Engage C-suite and senior executive clients as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding their business challenges and co-creating D&T transformation roadmaps that drive measurable commercial outcomes and deepen the client relationship.
Package and position cross-practice D&T solutions that deliver clear consumer and business value; tell a cohesive One Dentsu story that leverages the full breadth of dentsu’s capabilities and alliance partner ecosystem.
Collaborate with clients to develop use cases, innovation roadmaps, and bespoke solutions that integrate dentsu’s data, AI, and technology offerings.
Define and execute a growth-led GTM strategy for D&T globally, partnering with Practices and market/regional teams to operationalize, scale, and commercialize capabilities.
Create provocative, industry-leading thought leadership that elevates dentsu’s stature among peers, strengthens the D&T value proposition as a strategic transformation partner, and serves as a commercial accelerator.
Global Sales & Growth Org Leadership
Design and optimize the global growth operating model, including sales operations, pursuit management, pipeline governance, and growth orchestration processes to maximize efficiency, pace, and conversion across markets and regions.
Partner with market and regional leadership, CCO, and sub-practice leads to develop targeted account growth plans for designated global and key accounts, coordinating cross-brand and alliance partner opportunities to bring the best of dentsu to every engagement.
Define market targeting plans in collaboration with Inside Sales and Marketing, including campaigns, events, and prospecting strategies, to generate qualified demand and expand dentsu’s D&T footprint across priority industries and geographies.
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance global sales and growth organization, setting a culture of accountability, ambition, and relentless pursuit of commercial outcomes. Foster an environment where growth professionals thrive, collaborate, and consistently outperform.
Set clear objectives and performance expectations, providing regular feedback and recognition to drive team success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Data Science); advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years in data & technology solutions, marketing technology, or a related field, with significant experience in a senior growth or sales leadership role, including demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing global sales organizations.
Demonstrated track record of winning high-profile, complex deals with the ability to lead end to-end pursuit efforts, distill D&T solutions into compelling client-centered narratives, and close business at senior executive level.
Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships, driving new business development, and delivering commercial results in a matrixed global organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and inspire growth talent; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has the entrepreneurial drive to build and scale a world-class global sales organization.
The annual base salary range for this position is $375,000.00 - $390,000.00. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
