We are looking for a Head of Global Finance Operations.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a global Finance Operations team through regular feedback, career development conversations, and targeted skill-building initiatives.
  • Driving continuous process improvement across Siemens departments by championing automation, efficiency enhancements, and strategic evaluation of new tools that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Building team capability and accountability for end-to-end Finance Operations process excellence across Deal Desk, Order Operations, Billing, and Cash Collections while supporting an exceptional customer experience.
  • Managing budget planning and financial control for the Finance Operations function, including monitoring expenditures, optimizing cost structures, and supporting major system transformations.
  • Partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape the finance roadmap, identify operational excellence opportunities, and position Finance Operations as a key enabler of business growth.
  • Directing KPI frameworks and performance dashboards for senior leadership while developing your team’s analytical capabilities to deliver financial analysis, trend identification, and forecast support.
  • Establishing governance and quality standards that support compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS) across order processing, revenue recognition, and receivables management.
  • Preparing the organization for scalable growth by strengthening processes and team competencies that support acquisitions, new market expansion, and long-term business ambitions.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a suitable related major; MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of people management experience and order-to-cash / Finance Operations leadership experience.
  • 8+ years of project management and process improvement experience, preferably in a software or SaaS business environment.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms to manage projects, milestones, and cross-functional tasks.
  • International experience leading and working with global teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze extensive data and present insights clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and billing or collections systems such as Lockstep.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently with your team.
  • Positive, detail-oriented, can-do approach with a passion for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Availability to work from the Raleigh, NC office and authorization to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
