Job Description

ANDRITZ is embarking on a global transformation journey to redesign, standardize, and continuously improve global process standards within defined functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Treasury, Travel & Expense, and HR, enabled through its Global Business Services (GBS) model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a long-term vision & strategy for GBS as part of GBS steering board and manages the execution of the defined vision & strategy, ensuring full alignment with ANDRITZ enterprise objectives and objectives of the business areas

  • Directs identification of GBS scope expansion and performance improvement opportunities and innovative, cost-effective solutions for those opportunities

  • Reviews demand and translates it into discrete service offerings, including associated cost recharge mechanisms

  • Manages GBS brand by driving communication of GBS success stories throughout the ANDRITZ enterprise

  • Develops a service- and continuous improvement-led culture where high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved continuously

  • Develops a customer satisfaction strategy based on measurement, external benchmarking, feedback mechanisms, and continuous improvement structures

  • Introduces performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting procedures which encourage excellence

  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders and builds effective working relationships with internal customers, including implementation of formal feedback mechanisms through customer council

  • Delivers on commitments, in line with agreed budgets and in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Creates an environment where skilled people are motivated and committed to the achievement of objectives

  • Ensures that employee performance management procedures including objective setting, appraisal and personal development are implemented

  • Provides guidance and advise on the recruitment, retention and management of staff to operate the GBS organization

Critical Competencies, Skills & Experiences required:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, HR or related fields

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant functional experience (Finance, Procurement, HR, etc.)

  • Minimum 8 years of GBS/ Shared Services management experience

  • Proven managerial abilities and leadership capabilities

  • Effective communication capabilities with all levels of personnel, in particular with senior leadership

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proven transformation experience

  • Experience in setting up and leading cross-functional GBS or Shared Services Organizations in a global enterprise

  • Strong track record in driving performance improvements through a GBS model

  • Ability to lead on a strategic level and to expand the GBS service scope

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and senior leadership

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and issue resolution capabilities

  • Shows continuous improvement mindset and drives best practices
