The Head of General Legal Counsel Section 1 will lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing comprehensive legal advice and support across various business units within Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited. This role is crucial for ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the company's strategic objectives.

The Head of General Legal Counsel Section 1 will lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing comprehensive legal advice and support across various business units within Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited. This role is crucial for ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the company's strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities**

* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of General Legal Counsel Section 1, including supervision of legal staff, workload allocation, and performance reviews.
* Provide expert legal advice and support to all departments and business units on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, data privacy, and litigation.
* Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including commercial agreements, service contracts, vendor agreements, and other legal instruments.
* Identify and assess legal risks, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate such risks effectively.
* Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations, ensuring timely updates and compliance.
* Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and discussions with external parties, including government agencies and regulatory bodies.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, business development, and compliance teams, to achieve business goals while maintaining legal integrity.
* Develop and deliver legal training programs to internal teams to enhance legal awareness and compliance.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide legal policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable institution; Master's degree in Law is a plus.
* Admitted to practice law in Thailand.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within a corporate legal department or a reputable law firm.
* Extensive knowledge of Thai corporate law, commercial law, telecommunications law, intellectual property law, and data privacy regulations.
* Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing legal team.
* Fluency in both Thai and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
