Our client is seeking an experienced
Head of Global Business Services (GBS)
to lead and further develop its shared services organisation in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the GBS organisation delivers high-quality, efficient with agreed service levels and business expectations. The role will play a key part in strengthening operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, developing capabilities and identifying opportunities to leverage technology, automation and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead the regional GBS organisation and ensure the delivery of efficient, consistent and high-quality services to internal stakeholders.
• 
  Develop strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders across markets, corporate functions and shared service teams.
• 
  Act as a strategic GBS partner by understanding evolving business requirements and translating them into improvements to the service delivery model.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, operational efficiency, productivity and cost optimisation.
• 
  Identify opportunities for standardisation, process simplification, automation and technology adoption across the GBS organisation.
• 
  Establish appropriate reporting, performance metrics and analytical capabilities to monitor operational performance and support data-driven decision making.
• 
  Ensure appropriate governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance standards are embedded within the GBS operating environment.
• 
  Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Technology and other functional leaders to strengthen processes and controls.
• 
  Contribute to relevant governance forums and cross-functional initiatives involving service delivery, process optimisation and business transformation.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent would be advantageous.
• 
  At least 8 years of relevant experience across accounting, finance operations, reporting or related functions within a multinational or complex corporate environment.
• 
  Proven experience in GBS, shared services, regional service delivery or a comparable operating model.
• 
  Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders across multiple countries or business units.
• 
  Strong understanding of service delivery, process optimisation, governance and operational performance management.
• 
  Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, automation or transformation initiatives.
