Job Description
Ihre Aufgaben
- Timely and accurate production of financial reports, including but not limited to, fund accounting closes, financial statements, investor reports, cashflow notices, capital accounts and ad hoc investor requests for SIF, RAIF and unregulated structures with a high degree of accuracy
- Coaching, development and review of the work of a six-person finance team
- Developing and implementing finance, valuation, and investment monitoring policies and procedures
- Oversight of, and reporting on, the underlying investments of the funds
- Serving as the link between the finance team and managing directors and taking responsibility for their work
- Responding to ad hoc requests from other departments and from management
- Full finance support for the management company, including accounting and budgeting
- Taking a leading role in new system developments
- Understanding and applying the provisions of underlying fund legal documentation in the context of accounting, investment monitoring and fund administration more broadly
- Reviewing capital calls and distributions from underlying private equity fund investments as well as to our investors
- Responding to requests from our investors
- Planning and managing the fund and AIFM audit process
- Close collaboration with the portfolio management, risk, sales and other teams

Ihr Profil
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and high performance work environment with a direct reporting line to senior management
- Effective team leadership and communication skills, including the ability to motivate, develop and give feedback to your team
- A strong background in finance for alternative investments with a scope extending beyond accounting into finance more broadly
- Experience reviewing accounting deliverables with further involvement in financial analysis and investor reporting on which the accounting data are based
- Ability to “lead by example” including by stepping into a preparer role as needed
- A keen eye for process improvements and automation
- Interest in working across multiple departments and learning new functions (portfolio management, RTA, risk management, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and motivation for you and your team to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality and detailed reviews of others’ work
- Firm grasp of the relevant Luxembourg regulatory framework, e.g., Lux GAAP and CSSF circulars related to accounting and finance more generaly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, for example for team management and for replying to external investor requests. Fluent English skills are required; German is a plus
