Job Description

My client is an exciting listco that has recently relocated it's global headquarters to Hong Kong.

With it listed in multiple locations, it's now seeking a Head of Finance to join the leadership team in growing out the companie's finance operations with a view to progress into a Global CFO function once team is established.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Finance and Accounts Department
• Support the management in developing the business strategies and overseeing the business operation to ensure compliance and in line with the corporate objectives
• Conduct business performance and internal control review from time to time
• Ensure proper financial control, compliance with all statutory requirements and financial regulations for a listed company
• Lead to prepare annual report, consolidated financial statement and all other accounting related duties
• Prepare annual budget and work with external auditors and bankers

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Over 10 years’ practical experience in finance & accounting in which 5 years at Controller level or above in a listed company
• Qualified member of ACCA / HKICPA / ICSA / HKICS or equivalent would be an advantage
• Familiar with multiple locational accounting and tax practice
• Strong commercial sense and leadership to drive changes and to enhance work effectiveness and efficiency
• Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
