Position: Head of Finance

Role and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development of the companys strategy, priorities, and budget.
• Integrate finance department initiatives into the overall strategy and priorities.
• Develop a comprehensive roadmap for finance capabilities and process enhancements.

Accounting and Control Capabilities:

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
• Ensure accurate financial recording and entry.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Financial Planning and Cash Flow Management:

• Set the financial budget.
• Prepare cash flow projections.
• Plan for capital requirements.

Operational Finance Capabilities:

• Develop processes and controls for daily merchant pay-outs.
• Establish invoicing and reporting processes.
• Implement tax submission and payment procedures.
• Identify and implement suitable accounting software systems.

Financial Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Analyze financial transactions and key metrics.
• Report monthly performance against plan/budget.
• Determine profitability and price realization.

Commercial and Business Development Support:

• Develop pricing models.
• Anticipate financial risks and benefits.
• Prepare commercial proposals.

Organization and Team Building:

• Design and implement the Finance organization structure.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard talent for the Finance team.
• Cultivate a collaborative and motivated team culture.
• Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for development.

Management, Board of Director, and Investor Updates:

• Prepare monthly management dashboards.
• Create monthly board reports.
• Provide updates to investors.

Fundraising Activities Support:

• Prepare financial models for fundraising.
• Set up and maintain a data room for due diligence.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following additional qualifications will be highly regarded:

• Fintech Insight: Knowledge of the payments and fintech industry.
• Regulatory Experience: Familiarity with financial regulatory bodies in Thailand.
• Software Savvy: Experience with finance and accounting software relevant to payments companies.
