Head of Finance CHC Germany (f/m/d)

What to expect

  • In your role as Head of Finance CHC Germany, you are responsible for the strategic and operational financial planning of the CHC business (Strategic Ambition Plan, budget, forecasts, long-range planning).
  • You actively support the General Manager in identifying and realizing growth and profitability opportunities and steer business performance through clear KPIs and regular business reviews.
  • In your role, you develop robust business analyses and business cases as well as investment and profitability calculations (e.g. ROI, NPV and scenario analyses) and derive concrete recommendations for action.
  • You act as a sparring partner for Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing and Portfolio teams, assess strategic initiatives, portfolio decisions, business development projects and M&A activities and oversee their financial integration.
  • You are responsible for management reporting, financial analysis and the continuous development of reporting and steering instruments, ensure proper monthly, quarterly and annual closings in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS, and safeguard compliance and effective internal controls.
  • In your role, you lead digitalization and transformation projects with a focus on reporting, analytics, automation and modern AI solutions and further develop the German CHC finance team within the German and global matrix organization.

Who we are looking for

  • You hold a successfully completed degree in business administration, accounting or finance (Master’s, MBA or comparable qualification) and have at least 10 years of experience in senior finance roles in a mid-sized or international company – ideally in Consumer Healthcare, FMCG or Pharma.
  • In your role, you leverage your proven experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and business partnering as well as your sound knowledge of accounting, financial controlling, compliance and internal controls.
  • You have experience in the assessment, execution and integration of M&A transactions and are proficient in SAP (ERP/BW), Power BI, MS Office as well as modern AI-based analytics and productivity tools.
  • You possess excellent German and English language skills, think strategically, act in a customer- and business-oriented manner and combine strong analytical capabilities with pragmatic execution.
  • In your role, you communicate convincingly at all management levels, demonstrate strong leadership skills and have the potential for further international leadership responsibilities within the Group.
